My Canadian cousin Ann Paterson writes: "My grandfather, Stan Johns came to Canada some time prior to 1909 looking for work (I have a membership Certificate from the 'Independent Order of Odd Fellows' dated May 1909 at Cobalt, Ontario.

He went back to England and married my grandmother and brought her to Giroux Lake, Cobalt, Ontario.

They moved to Timmins, Ont. Were they lived until 1952. When my Mom and Dad moved to Scarbourough, Ont. (a subburb of Toronto) my grandparents moved with us. In 1956 we moved to Port Credit, Ontario (now known as Mississaauga."
