The Cornish-American Connection

My great grandfather Richard Toms is from St. Cleer, Cornwall. He married Annie Roskilly Meech. When Richard died, Annie married Samuel Pope Trebilcock. He was born Samuel Pope Trebilcock was born in St. Columb, Cornwall, England. His parents are Alfred (St. Columb Major) and Elizabeth Pope (Hull, York, England) Trebilcock.

Never met my paternal grandparents. He worked on the railroad and had to travel around lower Michigan for work during the depression.
