Detroit - Being on local tv with my grade-school science project "How Rocks are made into Soil" (my Mom's idea)  Got a ribbon for it at a Detroit Science Fair. 1963-6? - Working 2 1/2 yrs as volunteer at  Mt Carmel Mery Hospital. 1963? - Winning $25 First Prize for a Memorial Day Poster Contest. 1964? - Winning recognition in a UNICEF (?) poster contest. 1965 - First of 3 High School letters for Basketball.   1967-St. Francis de Sales High School: teaching my high school's basketball captain how to play the guitar (in 1970/70 played a Gibson in pubs in Shreveport) , 1969 - Plattsburgh AFB, NY: Judo (quite when I broke Caroles's collar bone), 1970/1-Shreveport, LA: Shreveport Little Theatre (stage manager for John Wray & Mary Young and one-time actress!), 1971-Barksdale AFB Aero Club: First solo flight (Piper Cub), Rhein-Main Air Base: June 1985-ROCKETTES Women's Volleyball team, German-wide Champs (USAFE) and European Champs (CSC) - underdogs (only 7 players) undefeated in Iraklion, Greece!    1985/6-Frankfurt/Main, FRG:  "Prompt Schreibservice" First attempt at a German & English Typing Pool Business! 1986-Disneyland: Talking to Whoppi Goldberg - before her "Color Purple" fame. 1992-Rhein-Main Air Base: Writing, casting and directing my first play "Auslaender 'raus!" thanks to Monroe Coburn. 1993-Frankfurt/Main, FRG: "Tutoring" English to Ursula Patzschke Beutel, the FIRST T.V.
